Motion is lotion
The intention of these sessions is to create a dialog between body and mind. You will learn how to move for healing, flexibility, strength and overall movement efficiency and ease.
The approaches highlighted will provide you with a framework for better posture, optimising athletic performance, alleviating niggles and restrictions, focusing on building overall flexibility, freedom of motion, balance and strength.
Each session offers you the space and time to train your deep core, and to improve and maintain muscle, joint and connective tissue health.
Pilates and Slings Myofascial Training as well as restorative release and relaxation.
The aim of this work is to:
- increase flexibility and strength - feel stronger, more integrated and fluid in the body - deal with injuries - address back-, neck-, knee, -hip and shoulder issues - refine your dynamic, deep core activation - build agility and endurance - find balance and ease in motion - awaken the body's blind spots (the areas that are most commonly prone to injuries)
FASCIA VINYASA ®YOGA Fascia Vinyasa® Yoga teaches you the art of mindful, natural movement for a deeper sense of ease and embodiment – stimulating, conditioning and rejuvenating your myo-fascial web.
With the Fascia Vinyasa practices and tools you

‘Yoga should not be a training for body control; on the contrary it must bring freedom to the body.’ – Vanda Scaravelli
WHERE SCIENCE MEETS THE SOUL
fascia * – ‘the biological fabric that holds us together’ (Tom Myers) , vinyāsa – movement and breath, wave, cycle, gradual progression, sequential movement evolving into a continuous flow creating a movement meditation, art, variation, yoga – union, interconnectedness, freedom
Fascia Flow In a Fascia Vinyasa® Yoga class, you will move through purposefully sequenced three-dimensional patterns of spiraling, gyrating, arching, folding, leaning, pulsing, twisting, squatting, lunging, sensing, changing the angle, tempo, and intensity to involve more of your myofascia.
FVY offers tools for bringing the natural flow of fascia and life into your yoga practice, and from your practice into your life.
We use a variety of progressive movements to melt and awaken stuck areas, especially in the back, hips, neck, chest and legs to allow smooth transitions and subtle inflections. You will learn to transition mindfully with control, and momentum. The breath is your foundation.
In FVY we move with least effort, we are in the flow, changing the sense of place, time and perhaps of self. A deep yoga experience not only gives us more mobility, balance and fluidity, it also opens us up to a different way of being open for the new; a new way of thinking, of being inquisitive and free. It’s not surprising that yogis are interested in different bodywork modalities such as massage, reflexology, Bowen, Structural Integration and the like. Whatever we do, yogis know, the key is variety. Our body, mind and soul respond exceptionally positive to change.
